Garlic Hot Sauces

Sauces where garlic is the star, not a supporting note. Roasted, fermented, black or fresh, it adds a savory depth that makes these some of the easiest bottles to use every day.

The biggest group of garlic sauces here is medium, and the rest range from mild to extra hot. Habanero and jalapeño are the usual peppers, and several pair black garlic with ghost pepper or Carolina reaper. Makers often add lime, onion or black pepper. Try them on wings, pizza, tacos, eggs and steak, or whisk one into butter for garlic bread with a kick.
