Detroit-area hot sauces from Royal Oak, Michigan, made since 2015 as a fresh, fire-roasted chile mash rather than a vinegar-heavy sauce.
Each bottle keeps things simple, usually with four or five ingredients, so the pepper comes through: Poblano, Anaheim, Fresno, Jalapeño, Cherry Bomb, Manzana and Habanero. The boozy series pairs peppers with beer, bourbon and Cabernet in Beer Habanero Scorpion, Bourbon Habanero Ghost and Cabernet Habanero Reaper. Hell Fire Detroit has been on Hot Ones, where Idris Elba named it his favorite.
