Spicy Shark Mako Snake is the second mythical creature in The Spicy Shark’s 6-Fin Series: an extra hot, masala-style sauce whose heat, The Spicy Shark says, will exhilarate you like the speed of a mako shark. Ghost pepper, Carolina Reaper and habanero meet coconut milk, mango chutney, sweet potato and garam masala. It was the sixth sauce on season 21 of Hot Ones.
It took third place for all-natural extra hot sauces at the 2026 Scovie Awards. Try it on chicken, lamb, burgers, rice, potatoes, curry, roasted vegetables, tempeh and naan. The Spicy Shark is Gabe DiSaverio’s company in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, which donates to shark conservation groups; its sauces are gluten-free and dairy-free, with no artificial preservatives, colors, flavors or pepper extracts.
