At SCOVILLED, we love showcasing makers who put their heart and soul into their sauces. This month, we’re shining the spotlight on High Desert Sauce Co. out of Tucson, Arizona. Known for their small-batch, handcrafted sauces, HDSC balances bold heat with fresh flavors - using only the best ingredients and letting the natural flavors run the show.

The mastermind behind High Desert Sauce Co. is Zac Perkins, who originally dabbled in barbecue sauces before transitioning to hot sauce in 2017. What began as a hobby during his journey to sobriety, quickly transformed into a full-fledged business. By 2018, High Desert Sauce Co. was officially launched, and Zac began working full-time to create unique and flavorful sauces.

Zac takes great pride in the fact that all his sauces are made entirely in-house. Being largely a one-man operation, Zac is hands on from start to finish. One of High Desert's most popular creations, Tikk-HOT Masala, gained national attention when it was featured on Season 15 of the hit YouTube interview series Hot Ones.
