TorchBearer Chipotle BBQ Sauce is a medium barbecue sauce that’s sweet, smoky and spicy at once: a tomato base sweetened with brown sugar, honey and molasses, with smoky chipotle and habanero heat.

Brush it over chicken, ribs or burgers, pile it onto pulled pork, or stir it into baked beans and chili; TorchBearer says you can put it on a hot dog too. TorchBearer Sauces, in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, began in 2005 after owner Vid Lynch and his friend Ben bottled a spare crop of habaneros with carrots, mandarin oranges and onions; its sauces use no pepper extracts.

Pennsylvania’s TorchBearer Sauces has been making bold, all-natural sauces since 2005, and it’s a Hot Ones regular.
