J’s The 5th Henchman is an extra hot sauce in which grilled sweet onion and oven-roasted garlic hold hands with yellow Moruga Scorpion and Carolina Reaper peppers, then mango and a vinegar blend complement the rich spice and coffee notes, with Meyer lemon, agave and curry powder. J’s calls it a true flavor bomb with real heat that holds on as long as the taste.
It took first place among extra spicy sauces at the 2026 Artisan Flave Awards and third among ultra-hot sauces at the 2025 Spicy Flave Awards. Use it with caution; J’s doesn’t recommend it for non-chiliheads. J’s Small Batch is Jason Robey’s brand, made at California Hot Sauce Solutions in Oceanside, California, which he founded with Paulman Acre’s Tim Paulman in 2018.

J’s range runs from the OG and two taco sauces to Thai’d Down Red Curry, Raisin the Bar, Fire Truck, The Exorcist and The 5th Henchman. Jason also co-founded California Hot Sauce Solutions, and several sauces here are collaborations with Paulman Acre, including La Pistola Smoked Strawberry Habanero, Subtle Tease and Sir Atcha. Medium is the biggest group.
