Texan Heartland Lone Star Reserve is a medium, Texas-made cayenne sauce built for the middle of the table: cayenne peppers with fire-roasted red bell pepper, honey, tamarind, onion, garlic and smoked paprika, for bright tang and subtle sweetness.
It took first place for Louisiana-style sauces at the 2026 Scovie Awards. Splash it on steak, brisket, burgers, eggs, fajitas, tacos, barbecue ribs, grilled vegetables and chili. Texan Heartland is JP Clark’s company in northwest Houston, started in 2023 with a homemade hot sauce he shared with friends and coworkers.
