TorchBearer Sucker Punch is an extra hot and sour sauce: sour and sweet flavor up front, with onion, citric acid and lime, then a lasting, ever-growing burn from Carolina Reaper, ghost pepper and Dragon’s Breath pepper. It was the ninth sauce on season 27 of Hot Ones.

TorchBearer rates it 11 out of 10 and says to use it sparingly. Try it on Chinese food, pork, mac & cheese, pizza, tacos and sandwiches. TorchBearer Sauces, in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, began in 2005 after owner Vid Lynch and his friend Ben bottled a spare crop of habaneros with carrots, mandarin oranges and onions; its sauces use no pepper extracts.

Pennsylvania’s TorchBearer Sauces has been making bold, all-natural sauces since 2005, and it’s a Hot Ones regular.

Founded in Mechanicsburg by three friends, TorchBearer made its name with Garlic Reaper, built on its mild Oh My Garlic! sauce, which became a Hot Ones favorite.
