Djablo Smoked is a medium Filipino hot sauce of wood-smoked jalapeño and Jamaican round chiles with Italian and Asian teardrop chiles, ginger, garlic, olive oil and agave on cane vinegar. Smoking the peak-ripened peppers draws out caramelized, subtly sweet notes and a mellow, balanced heat.
It suits heartier dishes like fried chicken wings and grilled pork belly, and it’s good on pizza, pasta and sandwiches.
