Heartbeat Pineapple Habanero is made with Sleeping Giant Brewery’s Beaver Duck session IPA from Heartbeat’s hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario: pineapple and habaneros with yellow bell pepper, onion, lime and garlic, for a boldly fruity, bright but savory sauce with medium heat. It was the third sauce on Season 10 of Hot Ones, at 12,200 Scovilles.
Try it on wings and chicken. It’s vegan and contains wheat from the ale.

Fermented hot sauces from Thunder Bay, Ontario, started as a home hobby in 2015 by Nancy Shaw and Al Bourbouhakis.
Heartbeat’s sauces are hand-crafted with all-natural ingredients and no added water or preservatives. Red Habanero is the classic, joined by Blueberry Habanero, Pineapple Habanero, Dill Pickle Serrano, Lion’s Mane Piri Piri and a shiitake Szechuan sauce called Darkside of the Grill. Most are medium.
