About the maker
Texas hot sauces from Michael “Mikey V” Valencia, whose restaurant-style salsa took first place at the 2012 Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival.
Originally from San Diego, Mikey opened his hot sauce shop in Georgetown, Texas in 2015. His range mixes taco-night staples like I Love Taco Sauce (mild and hot) with Dill Pickle Jalapeño, Dill Pickle Reaper, Roasted Garlic Reaper, Ghostly Garlic, Garlic Scorpion and Peach Habanero Delight, from mild to extra hot.
What hot actually means
30,000–350,000 SHU on the SCOVILLED scale. Habanero territory: heat that lingers, with room left for flavor.
