High River Rogue is a hot sauce of blood oranges, apples and pears with ginger and an unprincipled blend of scorpion, ghost and serrano peppers: refreshing heat with a subtle hint of sweetness. It was the sixth sauce on Season 2 of Hot Ones.
Try it on wings, eggs and pizza. It’s gluten-free and vegan. High River Sauces is based in Kings Park, on Long Island, New York, and also presents the NYC Hot Sauce Expo.

About the maker
Hot sauces with a heavy metal streak, founded in 2011 by music industry veteran and Heavy Metal Cookbook author Steve Seabury.
High River’s first sauce was made for the Metal Alliance Tour. Tears of the Sun, a habanero and tropical fruit sauce, was on Hot Ones season 14 and now has a Private Reserve edition too. The lineup also includes Foo Foo Mama Choo, Cheeba Gold, Thunder Juice with tequila, Hellacious, Rogue, Psych Sauce and a Pepper X Taco Sauce.
What hot actually means
30,000–350,000 SHU on the SCOVILLED scale. Habanero territory: heat that lingers, with room left for flavor.
