The Hellfire Gift Set is for the chilehead, one medium to warm up and then three extra hots: Devil’s Gold (medium), yellow superhots with pineapple, pear and papaya, which Hellfire calls its most awarded sauce; Fiery Fool (extra hot), over 80% pure pepper mash; Fear This! (extra hot), Carolina Reaper with sun-dried tomato and curry; and Firearrhea (extra hot), over 50% Reaper and 25% Trinidad scorpion.

Fiery Fool and Fear This! were each the ninth sauce on Hot Ones, on Seasons 6 and 8. Hellfire was founded in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, in 2009 by Diana, “the Sauceress”, and Merle, “the Chilimaster”. Use them with caution on wings, chili, steak and barbecue.

About the maker

Hellfire Hot Sauce

Superhot specialists from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, who launched Hellfire in 2009 after years of growing heirloom tomatoes and superhot peppers.

Their best-known sauce, Fear This!, is built on Carolina reaper, has appeared on Hot Ones and took first place in the XXXHot category at the NYC Hot Sauce Expo three years running. The range is big and bold, with Devil’s Blend Roasted Reaper, Evil Bastard, Doomed and Lucifer’s Last Blast at the top, but medium is the biggest group here, so there’s plenty for everyday use too. Cumin, curry, lemon and tropical fruit show up often.
