Gindo’s Jalapeño Poblano is a mild, everyday green hot sauce that blends fresh jalapeño peppers with smoky poblanos and red bell pepper into a bright, garden-fresh verde with a smooth, velvety finish. Gindo’s makes it from fresh, hand-picked peppers rather than powders or concentrates. It took first place for best mild sauce at the 2016 International Flavor Awards and second for best jalapeño sauce at the 2014 Cajun Hot Sauce Festival.
Drizzle it on tacos, eggs, grilled cheese, pulled pork, burgers, chicken, steak and roasted vegetables, mix it into marinades and vinaigrettes, or stir it into Greek yogurt, cream cheese, avocado or sour cream for a quick dip. It’s gluten-free. Gindo’s, a woman-owned company started in 2011, makes its own fresh-pepper sauces and runs a Hot Saucery in St. Charles, Illinois.

About the maker
Fresh pepper hot sauces from Chris “Gindo” Ginder and his wife, Mary, who started Gindo’s Spice of Life in Los Angeles in 2011 and now make it in Illinois.
Gindo’s sauces have rich, savory twists: Bacon Bourbon Ghost, Bacon Jalapeño, Truffle Parmesan, Vampire Slayer and Jalapeño Poblano. They range from mild to extra hot, with smoke, maple and honey for depth.
