Gindo’s Bacon Jalapeño is a smoky, medium sauce of jalapeños with poblano, habanero and roasted tomatillos, seasoned with bacon salt (sea salt with a natural bacon flavor smoked over alderwood) and black lava salt. Gindo’s describes it as smoky, tangy and earthy with a warm, fiery finish.
Try it on poached eggs, skillets, baked potatoes, green beans, Brussels sprouts, pasta carbonara and baked beans, or on wings, burgers and tacos. It’s gluten-free. Gindo’s, a woman-owned company started in 2011, makes its own fresh-pepper sauces and runs a Hot Saucery in St. Charles, Illinois.

About the maker
Fresh pepper hot sauces from Chris “Gindo” Ginder and his wife, Mary, who started Gindo’s Spice of Life in Los Angeles in 2011 and now make it in Illinois.
Gindo’s sauces have rich, savory twists: Bacon Bourbon Ghost, Bacon Jalapeño, Truffle Parmesan, Vampire Slayer and Jalapeño Poblano. They range from mild to extra hot, with smoke, maple and honey for depth.
