Funky’s Terra Luna is a medium, fermented green chili sauce made from four green chilies, jalapeño, serrano, Anaheim and poblano, aged into a mash with garlic and onion for a unique, earthy flavor. It won first place in the jalapeño-based division of the Screaming Mimi awards at the 2023 NYC Hot Sauce Expo.
It’s good on most anything, and especially on Latin food, vegetables, pizza and breakfast. Matt “Funky” Mini makes Funky’s sauces in Bellingham, Washington. Its peppers come from farms in Skagit County, Washington, when they’re in season.
