Flavor & Fire Taco Cat is a hot, Southwest-style taco sauce: a base of aged cayenne pepper sauce kicked up with ghost pepper, plus cumin, ancho, garlic and onion. Once the ghost chile hits your tongue, the label says, it acts like a cat on a hot tin roof.
Flavor & Fire calls it its most popular taco sauce; shake it on tacos, nachos, burritos, enchiladas and fajitas. Its milder sibling is Taco Dog, and its hotter one Taco Lobo. It’s gluten-free and vegan. Flavor & Fire makes it in Ohio and has had a shop in downtown Columbus since 2006.
