Hook & Arrow Cayenne, Garlic is the company’s mild take on the classic Louisiana-style hot sauce, made simply from cayenne pepper, vinegar and garlic. It won first place among Louisiana-style hot sauces at the 2023 Spicy Flave Awards, and Hook & Arrow lists several Screaming Mimi awards from the NYC Hot Sauce Expo too, including first place for the Newbie Award in 2022.
This simple, versatile sauce goes well on wings, pizza, eggs and even Bloody Marys. It’s made without thickeners or preservatives, so it may separate; shake well. Hook & Arrow was started by brothers Sam and Henry in honor of their family’s fishing, hiking and camping trips, and it gives part of its profits to conservation groups.
