CaJohns Liquid Stoopid is an extra hot sauce of ripe red jalapeños and garlic with 1 million Scoville pepper extract. It starts out tasty and savory, then the extract clamps down hard. As CaJohns puts it, one drop will stupify ya. Each bottle is topped with a 3D-printed head of the label’s character, with movable eyes.

CaJohns recommends it on wings and fried chicken, burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs and brats, and fries, tater tots and mashed potatoes. It’s good on tacos, eggs, chili and pizza too. Use it sparingly and keep it away from eyes, children and pets.

One of the most awarded names in craft hot sauce, CaJohns Fiery Foods was founded in central Ohio in 1996 by John “CaJohn” Hard, a fire protection engineer with a love of spicy food.

CaJohns makes a huge range: Small Batch garlic cayenne, jalapeño and habanero sauces, a black garlic series, Serrano Lime, Wild Mushroom, Fatali Fire and Raspberry Honey Mustard. At the top end, the Black Mamba sauces use pepper extract for extreme heat. Medium is the biggest group here, with plenty at both ends of the scale.
