Trinidad Thyme Bomb is an extra hot sauce from Black Eyed Susan Spice Co. built on the yellow 7-Pot pepper, native to Trinidad and Tobago, with pineapple, banana and thyme. Corn, lemon juice, onion, garlic and rice vinegar round out the base.
The maker created it as a tribute to Trinidad and Tobago’s mix of cultures and cuisines. It won a gold medal at the 2023 Scovie Awards (World Beat, XXX Hot) and first place for Caribbean hot sauces at the 2022 International Flavor Awards.
