Black Bison is an extra hot fruit sauce from Vermont’s Angry Goat Pepper Co. It blends red cherries, raspberries and blackberries with pomegranate juice, lime juice and tequila, and gets its heat from habanero, ghost and scorpion peppers.
It won first place in the fruit-based hot category at the 2015 NYC Hot Sauce Expo’s Screaming Mi Mi Awards. Angry Goat calls it serious sauce for a serious chilihead and suggests it on beef, poultry and pizza, or in a mixed drink. Use it with caution.
