Old Florida flavor from Taylor Grocery in Felda, where Buddy Taylor created the original Gator Sauce.
Gator Sauce is a Louisiana-style blend of peppers, vinegar, garlic and spices. Swamp Gator adds fresh habanero, jalapeño and hammock peppers, and Lethal Gator brings more heat with habanero and scotch bonnet. The family also makes barbecue sauces like Gator Que and Hog Wallow, Swamp Mustard, and seasonings for the grill.
What hot actually means
30,000–350,000 SHU on the SCOVILLED scale. Habanero territory: heat that lingers, with room left for flavor.
