The brand behind Dave’s Insanity Sauce, one of the first hot sauces made with pepper extract and famously banned from the National Fiery Foods Show.
Dave Hirschkop started making ever-hotter sauces at his restaurant, Burrito Madness, and Insanity Sauce followed in the early 1990s. Today Dave’s Gourmet covers the whole scale: half the sauces here are mild, like Cool Cayenne, Roasted Garlic and the creamy jalapeño and habanero sauces, while Ghost Pepper, Scorpion Pepper, Carolina Reaper and Insanity bring the burn.
